At Porter's Orchard, we got to see a cider press at work (and drink the results....mmmmm, mmmm, good). The kids fed a llama, goats, pigs, and petted a bunny. We all enjoyed (Thomas especially) a hayride behind a tractor, and choosing pumpkins from the patch. In addition the kids went on a huge slide and played on other toys they had there. Isn't my mom gorgeous?
While at Michigan we had picture perfect weather all but one day. That day it rained, but just enough to change the pace. The rest of the nine days were sunny and in the high 60's. We ate out, and ate in. The only downer's were Thomas getting an ear infection and Kristine being sick with morning sickness. But she was really a trooper for how sick she felt. I remember all too vividly how awful it is. There is only one thing that makes it worth it. We are so, so, so, excited that they are going to be having another little one. But I'm sorry she is feeling so sick and I'm really grateful she was so gracious while we were there. Thanks Kristine!!!
And thanks to Kevin, Thomas and Grandma. We had a wonderful time and will remember it always. Love you!!
