Happy Easter

It has been a wonderful holiday season for us, and preparing for a baby is a great way to feel the spirit of the Savior's atonement! I just want to chime in about how excited we are about spring. The first flowers we have come across this year are growing right outside our front door! They really are a great symbol of the victory of emerging out of the old and preparing for the new.

And, you will be happy to know, that Emily has carried the torch of the Johnson family, even while 9 months pregnant, and hosted an Easter picnic on Good Friday. Even though the blustery, cold wind forced us inside, the chicken salad sandwiches were delicious and Emily was a wonderful hostess. You are getting a glimpse of some of our friends and their kids. All our pictures of the Shorters, Hewards and Walkers turned out badly! Try their blogs for more pics!

Madison is our favorite little diva!

We really missed being a part of things in AZ, but we are grateful for all of our new friends!

Hey guys, I just found your blog and I was SO happy to see the picture of the malfunctioning washer. Oh my gosh...seriously, we should picket outside of the housing office for new laundry equipment so we don't have to spend our lives wringing out clothes and towels! Ack!

Happy baby!! so exciting!
